“Spirit of Gratitude”

What shall I render unto the Lord for all of His benefits towards me? Psalm (116:12).  This is a real question to ask yourself.  It is a question that deserves consideration.  Essentially, the Psalmist was reflecting on the goodness of the Lord, all that he had been through, and how good God had been to him in the process.   Think about it for a minute.  Who can change your circumstances; your situations; move the mountains in your life; cause walls to fall and chains to break?

I encourage you to clear the atmosphere of your mind and spirit to give Him the glory!  Send up a praise before your take another step and before you do next thing.  That’s it, it’s a good time to show Him how much you appreciate Him.

You might be feeling as though there is just too much happening right now.  But this is the best time to express your appreciation in return for Gods’ loving kindness.   Right in the midst of where you are right now, you can shift your focus.  Be intentional about staying your mind on Him and His goodness.

Another perspective is look to the one who made the heavens and the earth. He made things by His spoken word. Did you know that world was framed by things that do not appear? In the book of Hebrews 11:3 we find this account. “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear”.  WOW!  Help me praise Him! 🏃🙌👏

Finally, I have a few questions for you.  What are you most thankful for? What has He done for you lately?   What are you most appreciative of?  What would you like to thank Him for today?  How will you say thanks to your Heavenly Father?  I can’t wait to hear your praise!
